Abstract

This text is a contribution to the study of French influences on the programmatic texts of the Orange Alternative political-artist movement and its founder Waldemar Major Fydrych. The text does not aspire to a larger whole, it only complements the previous research with threads on the influence of the Manifesto of Surrealism, Paris and cooperation with a representative of pro-environmental circles. The author, who was once associated with the movement, takes a closer look at the socio-political context of the creation of the Orange Alternative, while showing its unique character by redefining the scope of influence and taking into account the role of the Virtual Museum of the Orange Alternative.
