@article{Soroceanu_2026, title={Intervention Methods Used in The Development of Psychomotor Skills in Children with ASD}, url={https://intertext.ulim.md/intertext/article/view/20}, DOI={10.54481/}, abstractNote={ A comprehensive understanding of the child’s world cannot work without a tactile motor perception, as it is at the heart of sensory knowledge. Sensory knowledge is perceived tactilely and is the first impressions about the shape, size of objects and their location in space. For sensitive perception, fine motor skills are taken into account - which is precise and harmonious movements of the fingers. The activity of speech and thinking centers of the brain directly depends on the development of fine motor skills. In the preschool period, it is necessary to create conditions for the child to accumulate as early as possible, develop manual skills, form the mechanisms necessary for future writing. This means that the intelligence and inventiveness of children is directly proportional to the child’s greater or lesser interest in manual work. Namely, motor skills and the psyche are the primary elements that play a role in the process of human development. And the combined action between the ratio of psychic functions and motor functions gives rise to the notion of psychomotricity. The psychomotricity process is present in every action performed by humans such as: communication, writing, movement and even emotional expressiveness. Everything we do is accompanied by the notion of psychomotricity. Recent data suggest an increase in the incidence of autism globally. This makes the study of psychomotricity development in these children a priority, because psychomotricity is essential in the development of motor, social and communication skills. }, number={1(65)}, journal={Intertext}, author={Soroceanu, Igor}, year={2026}, month={May}, pages={139–145} }
